eptember 11 of that year, the beginning of a campaign of US-backed repressive terror throughout Latin America; 
~ in 2000, of the beginning of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, when Ariel Sharon, a Likud party candidate for Israeli prime minister, entered the Temple Mount accompanied by over 1,000 security guards.
