[Peace-discuss] Cut Social Security & Veterans' Benefits? Cut the Pentagon Instead

According to the CBO, cutting Social Security and veterans' benefits with
the "chained CPI" would save the government $163 billion over ten years.
Here's three better ways to cut government spending by $163 billion: 1) End
the war in Afghanistan 2) Cut the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program by 10%
(267 planes); 3) Cut Pentagon contracting and bring the work in-house. All
we have to do if we want to cut Pentagon spending instead of Social
Security and veterans' benefits is kill the grand bargain.
