[Peace-discuss] Mendacity of hope

Obama became president by becoming a blank screen on which US voters projected their desires for 'hope and change' (= jobs and prosperity) - i.e., by lying in effect that that's what he would produce.

But if one looked at all closely at what he said even before 2008, one found a commitment to the murderous military and economic policies of the 1% - which he has put into practice in office:
