[Peace-discuss] follow-up to meeting with Rep. Davis' on proposed cuts to Social Security

On Thursday, a group of us met with staff in Rep. Davis office in
Champaign. We urged that Rep. Davis say publicly that he will oppose the
President's proposal to cut Social Security and veterans' benefits. We
asked for a written response. I told the staff I would collect addresses of
petition signers who want a written response. So:

1) If you didn't get to sign the petition yet, it's not too late. We'll be
