Stuart

I will be at the Farmers Market at 8:00 and stay as long as is necessary. Will be glad to close up at noon if no one else is available as well.

I can also do the Quad Day, noon to 4:00, whatever is necessary.

That being said, if others join and I'm not needed at any point in time, I will be happy to take a break or breaks.

I think Deb is planning on attending the Market this Sat. as well.

I am going to see the film Hannah Arendt this afternoon, Deb is meeting me there.

(First: it's worth seeing Hannah Arendt if you get a chance and
haven't already. Last showing is today, Wed at 2:30PM.)

OK, here's part of that virtual distribution from last week's
    meeting.

It turns out that AWARE *does* have a spot at this Saturday's 8/24
Farmer's Market (spaces 16+17, in the middle of the row). I can be
there. Karen will transport the swag, but she can't stay long in
the hot sun. Who else can come by, for any part of the time
(8-9:20, 9:20-10:40, 10:40-closing)? (This overlaps the UFL book
sale, so Ron may be busy.)

Unsure about Quad Day - Sunday 8/25, noon-4:00PM. It appears that
the ISO met last night, so maybe they had a chance to consider
whether we can share their table. *If* we do get a space, who
could be there to staff it, say noon-2 or 2-4 or whatever? (I'm
busy with another booth, can't help much.)

Still need to check on whether the IMC will welcome help with their
outside-the-sweet-corn-fest table (Fri evening, Sat most of the
    day).

Also, *if you're tempted to skip all of those and attend the 2013
March on Washington this weekend*, please see Jesse
Phillippe's note - the ISO is organizing transportation (along with
NAACP, on the same set of buses):

      [...]

We are trying to put together a group of people who are
interested in going to the 50th Anniversary of the March on
Washington, in Washington, D.C., on August 24.
        So if you are
interested, please let us know by emailing japhillippe at gmail.com:

We will be discussing the details at out
regular weekly meeting, this Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the
Urbana Free Library, downstairs in the smaller Conference
          Room.

Buses will be leaving from Springfield, Kankakee, and
Chicago (we are hoping for available seats in the Kankakee
and Chicago buses, but are currently waiting to find out
from Kankakee, since it is closer).

      50th
Anniversary
          of the March on Washington
