Dear Robert,

*Pledge to support Palestinian nonviolent resistance to the Netanyahu
government's land confiscations by spreading the word about the next
village as the news breaks.
*
Make the Pledge<http://salsa.democracyinaction.org/dia/track.jsp?v=2&c=i%2F8tUqqPIgxc5GOLWd0YRWMx7%2Fkd8%2FxZ>

Last Friday, Palestinian peace activists created the village of Bab
al-Karama on the lands of Beit Iksa village to prevent their confiscation
by the Netanyahu government.

The previous Friday, Palestinian peace activists created the village of Bab
al-Shams near the village of Al Zaim to block the confiscation of
Palestinian land by the Netanyahu government.

What do you think is going to happen in Palestine this Friday?

*Sign our pledge to support Palestinian nonviolent resistance to land
confiscation by the Netanyahu government by spreading the news on the next
protest village as soon as it breaks.* If you sign, we will send you news
and resources Friday morning.

If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a sound?

To be effective, a strategy of nonviolent resistance to injustice requires
an audience.

Sometimes Western pundits have asked: where are the Palestinian Gandhis?
But when Palestinians have used nonviolent resistance strategies and have
been suppressed by Israeli occupation forces, Western pundits have been
largely silent. The pundits' words communicate one thing; the selective
focus of Western media - if it bleeds, it leads - communicates the opposite.

Now we have a historic opportunity to turn this around. By sharing the news
on Palestinian nonviolent resistance through Twitter and Facebook, we can
force the news onto the radar of mainstream media. Mainstream media ignored
Occupy Wall Street at first. When it became prominent on social media,
mainstream media had to take notice.

*Sign our pledge to act to support Palestinian nonviolent resistance to
land confiscation by the Netanyahu government by spreading the news on the
next protest village as soon as it breaks.*
