[Peace-discuss] Panel on the Ongoing War

The Tuesday 21 May edition of "AWARE on the Air" will be a general discussion about the ongoing war that AWARE was formed to oppose, 12 years ago.

We will consider the appended column by Glenn Greenwald, who points out that the Obama administration has declared that its 'war on terror' is permanent. Senior Obama officials told the Senate yesterday that the 'war', in limitless form, will continue for 'at least' another decade - or two.

The program will be cablecast Tuesday night at 10pm on channels 6 & 99 and live-streamed at <urbanapublictelevision.org>.

It will be recorded - unrehearsed - at noon on Tuesday 21 May in the Urbana City Council chambers. Members and friends of AWARE are invited to attend and participate.
