The lack of certainty, opportunity, and security don't bug me as much as
the impingement of the "current government apparatus" on me and my
family personally while I resided in the US.
Christina Tobin rightfully places the responsibility for the wars, the
surveillance police state and the financial collapse on the back of
crummy government.
Free and Equal is one of the organizations that is working ambitiously
to cause real change.

Recruiting Young Leaders for a New Tomorrow
------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Free & Equal Elections Foundation is pleased to announce that it
will be launching a program next week to help concerned *Americans run
for Congress in 2014*, specifically disenfranchised college-age youth
who have been most affected by the political chaos of the past twenty years.
All within the course of their short lives, the American youth of today
face less certainty, less opportunities and less security than their
parents and grandparents due to the arrogance of the current government
apparatus that has been responsible for two wars, a financial collapse
and an invasive surveillance state. Free & Equal seeks to build up
resources for new, idealistic, morally sound young leaders in order for
them to step up and mend the mistakes of their elders. Under this new
regime, Congress will again represent the voice of the American people
and the mistaken focus on the presidency will fade into history.
Free & Equal Elections has one initiative already in the planning stages
to assist young leaders – the *Election Assistant*

which will bring together the public record of their opponents in a
single database. However, the vision of this organization does not end
there; Free & Equal will create and provide training resources to best
equip new leaders to win their respective races, starting with training
them how to achieve candidacy.
Free & Equal’s National Team will first write and publish a candidacy
manual based on Federal Election Commission guidelines in order to
orient young leaders about the process of beginning their
campaign. Free & Equal will also tap in to its massive network of
activists and leaders and *bring state caucuses into the fold*

bringing these young leaders the grassroots base they need to win a
direct mandate from the areas they seek to represent. Many of the seats

Equal-supported leaders to take the reins.
These are only glimpses of the massive network and resources that Free &
Equal will build and create to bring a positive, peaceful revolution to
the United States. Many more initiatives are being developed to best
help those who need our support. As more leaders with vision and energy
join the movement, this vision will become even more concise and objective.
The first step is rallying the youth to action, which will take place at
the *United We Stand Festival at UCLA on May 10th, 2014*
