An assumption that underlies this story is that the U.S. State Dept. has an
intention to impartially negotiate a peace between Israel and Palestine.
Seems far more likely that the State Dept. approved and facilitated the
wiretap on behalf of Israel so that there would be no question who Kerry
was working for.
