I don't think BDS is above criticism - Chomsky and Finkelstein makes sense on the subject, it seems to me - nor do I think the question of academic boycott (in fact a vague phrase) is open and shut. But the Salaita matter is clear, and I'm appalled to find Cary Nelson on the wrong side of it.

Cary Nelson was on Dem Now at that time and was awful. He apparently wanted to outdo himself.
