The talks in Cairo on a sustained ceasefire in Gaza have collapsed over
Israel’s refusal to end the blockade of Gaza, and attacks between Israel
and Gaza have resumed. [1]

The only way this ends is with a political agreement that lifts the
blockade, and that’s going to require increased international pressure.
Norway has spoken up. [2] The UN has spoken up. [3] Oxfam has spoken up.
[4] We need the U.S. government to speak up.

Actor and Director Danny Glover has a piece on the front page of the
Huffington Post, calling on Members of Congress to *stand with
Representatives Keith Ellison and Barbara Lee in pressing for a diplomatic
resolution to the conflict that ends the blockade on Gaza*. [5] We want to
