Obama became president with the support of the anti-war movement and those Americans (a majority) who disapproved of Bush's war in the Mideast. 

There were those in the movement who said he was lying, and unfortunately they were correct. His lies managed to co-opt and largely destroy the anti-war movement.

The crimes of Bush-Obama approach those of Kennedy-Johnson. And they obviously aren't over.
