Martians landing in USA reminds me of a Chinese joke.

Three Alien spacecraft crash landed in China.

One in Beijing, one near Shanghai, the third in Guangzhou (Canton).

In Beijing, the alien being was immediately transported to a laboratory
where it was dissected and analyzed.

The one that crashed in Shanghai was put in a museum and people were 
charged a significant sum for tickets for a chance to see it.

The alien that arrived in Guangzhou  --- 
They ate it.
