David is unfortunately correct. So long as "progressive" is taken to mean support for the Obama administration and the Democrats (and even Clinton) - and not a call for the reversal of their military and economic policies - it should be opposed by those appalled by the actions of child-killer in the White House. The Israeli massacre, e.g., could not continue without their support.  --CGE
