Carol Ammons, the people's choice, has soundly defeated her Madigan-Machine-supported and very well-funded pro-corporate opponent with a vastly underfunded but well-organized grassroots campaign of integrity and commitment to working families, protecting the environment, challenging the police-judge-prison-industrial complex, and not just letting the people's voice be heard but organizing a situation such that the people's voice must be listened to.
Ring the bell for the people's victory!
