Those rewards of course were already being supplied by the Obama administration, at the behest of the one-percent.
The Democrats were just lying about what they were doing ("fooling the stupid public,” as they said). The Republicans were just more honest - while they proposed doing largely the same thing. Obama made them struggle for any "product differentiation" by doing what they proposed.
