February schedule in Recognition of Black History Month

Feb. 1st ; ' The Children's March "

In Birmingham Alabama in 1963 Dr. King is serving a 2-month jail sentence
and the Civil Rights movement is at a low point. With the help of an
activist minister from Mississippi, Birmingham High School Students begin to
occupy and shut down downtown Birmingham.

The campaign lasts close to a month with Middle School and even Elementary
children eventually joining the shut down, resulting in thousands of young
people jailed at the County fairgrounds in livestock barns. These images
broadcast to the nation finally forced President John Kennedy to intervene.
An inspiring story of how sustained non-violent direct action and disruption
can be extremely effective.

Feb. 8th ; " At the River I Stand "

The last several weeks of Dr. Kings life in Memphis Tenn. During the
Sanitation Workers Strike. A detailed account of not just DR. King but in
particular the Workers involved in the Strike.

Feb. 15th ; " 10,000 Black Men Named George "

A dramatization of A. Phillip Randolph and the organizing of the African
American Sleeping Car Train Porters during the 1920's and 1930's, who later
became an essential part of the Civil Rights Movement during the 1950' and
1960's.

Feb. 22nd : " The Assassination of Martin Luther King "

A detailed and documented film about the U.S. governments involvement in the
murder of Dr. King. This is NOT conspiracy theory this is conspiracy FACT !

The information documented in this film led to the successful King family
civil lawsuit in 1999 in which a jury ruled in favor of the King family's
case. Not ONE single U.S. corporate media outlet covered this historical
event when it happened.
