[Peace-discuss] Green party re-launched in C-U

A well-attended meeting at the Champaign library today heard Illinois Green Party chairman Rich Whitney give a cogent account of the need for the Green party - in Champaign-Urbana and nationally.

The C-U section of the Illinois Green Party - the Prairie Greens - is being re-established by a local organizing committee, including David Johnson, Karen Aram, and David Green, who together organized today's meeting.
