If that’s so, what did she/they say? There’s been no public statement. 

I wrote Carol and asked her about it. No response. 

Carol chose not to vote against Israeli apartheid, for reasons she’s not explained.

I assume she was following the instructions of her party. 

A generation ago, would she have chosen not to vote against South African apartheid on the same basis?
