      Congressional Progressive Caucus Forum on Iraq & Syria AUMF

    Dear Colleague:

    Please join us on Tuesday, March 17th at 2pm for a forum on the
    President’s authorization for the use of military force (AUMF)
    proposal and the current half year war against the Islamic State in
    Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

    As Congress prepares for robust debate on an AUMF and in light
    of the President’s proposed AUMF against ISIL, it is critical that
    Congress fully consider the consequences of committing the US to
    continued military action.

    The Congressional Progressive Caucus has led the fight in calling
    for Congressional debate on an AUMF against ISIL and will also be
    hosting a congressional forum on the topic.

    Witnesses will include:
