Who is assuming that the forces of goodness, truth and beauty are .......or white washing it, I certainly am not, merely  saying that its positive as opposed to negative, and preferable to the continued sanctions and vilification of Iran. I can't speak for what others may think.
 
I also doubt it will be effective against the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, as there are so many organizations set up to integrate Eurasia, per my discussion on AOTA yesterday, see Pepe Escobars communication.

I think it’s a mistake to assume that the forces of Goodness, Truth and Beauty are pressing for the #IranDeal(TM), and the forces of darkness are arrayed against it. (Maybe half of that is true.)
The Obama administration is working to enhance its control of Mideast oil flows - a cornerstone of US imperial policy since WWII - by reincorporating Iraq into its clientage, along with Saudi Arabia and Israel, as was the case 1953-79. SA and Israel are grudgingly on board, but up to now Iran has not been.  
The US has been torturing Iran for 60 years, and suggests it will do so a little less if Iran does do what it’s told. That’s the #IranDeal(TM), and the US is using it primarily as a weapon against the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (China, Russia, & central Asian states), to defeat Eurasian economic integration, in the interest of US one-percent’s economic hegemony.  
We would be wrong to white-wash what Washington wants.  —CGE
