Mainstream media, as is the NYT's, is becoming more ridiculous by the day. They have an article this morning in respect to the question of who becomes a terrorist and how to predict it, not the exact title but the essence.
.
Here is one paragraph contained: "Despite millions of dollars of government-sponsored research, and a much-publicized White House pledge to find answers, there is still nothing close to a consensus on why someone becomes a terrorist."

All I have to say ...is "Duhhhh" " if you want to prevent terrorism, stop participating in it"per Noam Chomsky. Or if you want to stop individuals from becoming terrorists, then stop blowing people to bits with drones, drop sanctions which kill children and those who need medicines, food, and other commodities to survive.

Stop destroying nations, their infrastructure's, creating refugee's who are dying while attempting to escape our bombs.

Stop the proliferation of weapons, and militarization of police forces' who kill with impunity, around the world, including here in the US, specifically targeting people of color.

Stop the corporations from sending our jobs overseas to further their profits, while all the while cutting humanitarian services and raising the costs of healthcare and education.

Stop US govenment provocations against China and Russia with Nato and our nuclear weapons on their doorsteps.

The list goes on, and no one had to pay me millions to come up with the above solutions, which took all of 4 minutes to write.

Maybe I should send the US government a bill for my services? I will add a few more solutions and then I can charge a little more, it won't be in the millions, afterall it's really just commonsense. I won't however, tell that to the White House, I'll let them think this was major research requiring great skills and effort. .
