“Jill Stein Pushes For Election Recount In Key States. The Green Party nominee says she needs $2 million to fund recount requests in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.”

[Jeffrey St Clair] What in the world? Jill Stein is trying to raise $2 million for recounts in WI, Michigan & Penn, recounts that presumably aren't about getting a bigger vote total for the Green Party but trying to find "lost" votes for HRC. If HRC isn't willing to stand up for her own voters (assuming there are lost votes, which I tend to doubt) why the hell should the Greens? What's Stein up to? "I didn't cost Hillary the election, I tried to win it for her?” 

...the $2 million would be better spent by the Greens organizing their own party--or providing legal support at Standing Rock or playing the PowerBall or almost anything other than this....
This smells of Stein's campaign manager David Cobb to me, who in 2004 really wanted the Greens to run a stealth campaign so as not to be tarnished by reelection of Bush. Many of these people really want to be teleported back to the Democratic Party of the 70s and 80s.
