[Peace-discuss] NYT comments

 If you want to know the plight of many people in this country, and contrast it to the NYT/professional class treatment of their issues, the best thing to read is the comments section of articles like this. Raw experience and insight often join to reveal much more than the article intended. Obviously, this explains much about the rise of Trump, and indeed at some level support for Trump is a barometer for a certain level of common sense/appropriate outrage (as well as cynicism) among (presumably white) Americans. It's gotten to the point where I seriously could not care less whether Trump or Clinton becomes President.
