COMMUNITY SUPPORT RALLY for CHAMPAIGN TEACHERS

 

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 20th  at   4PM

 

CHAMPAIGN SCHOOLS MELLON ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

703 S. New St. ( corner of New St. and John St. ) Champaign.

 

 

The Champaign Schools Teacher's Union is currently facing difficult contract
negotiations with the Champaign School Board, in regards to healthcare and
working conditions. They have been working without a contract for several
months.

Nation-wide, public school Teachers have been a primary focus of neo-liberal
and right-wing austerity attacks.

WE need to show the Champaign school Board that the Champaign-Urbana
community supports our Teachers and demand that the school board negotiate
in good faith and give the teachers a fair contract.

 

PLEASE, come out and show your support this Tuesday, as the Champaign
Teachers march from Central High School to the Mellon Administration
Building to rally and continue their contract negotiations.
