That’s why I’m sending out the notices, I hope we can have as many people participate as possible, in spite of lousy weather. Not as a group but as individuals. David Johnson, Stuart and Karen M. have committed to being there, as well as David Enstrom of the local Green Party.

Initially I was hoping for “endorsement” from AWARE, as that offer was presented to us. However, given the dialog that has taken place, I no longer want it and told the organizer I’m in contact with, that “No” forget AWARE.

We may have Green Party Illinois endorsement, however, some of the data doesn’t match up with that provided by the Intercept, so until that is corrected, the Greens are on hold.

David— “Intersectionality” [ = “Why don’t all of us discriminated-against people get together?”] is the desperate dead-end of identity politics, which is itself the cover for neoliberalism. Once class politics are abandoned, discrimination rather than exploitation becomes the only explanation for inequality. But we’re not killing people in the Mideast for white supremacy (or any other form of discrimination). We’re doing it for the profits of the American economic elite. It’s the job of the US antiwar movement to tell that truth and shame the ruling class devil. Confusion with other good causes - like anti-discrimination - serves to obscure it.
