Who’s “us”?

I’ll be at the rally (if my blood can take it).

I wanted to know the reason for it, since you say the rally isn’t about electoral politics.

Isn’t it then (the wonderfully-named) ‘virtue-signalling’?

Identity politics has substituted hysterical posturing about discrimination (against the poor, as well other groups) as a cover for accepting real exploitation - accelerating inequality and austerity, for the benefit of the rich.
