I was led on to it by the author's interview with the Canadian activist Justin Podur on his podcast Ossington Circle, which is also well worth a listen for those with the time and interest. The relationship between Chrystia Freeland and the Ukrainian lobby is particularly interesting. In the U.S., the Magnitsky Act was signed by Obama in 2012, and involves adoptions of Russian children.
