State payment good news for county nursing home

Won't have to tap into $250,000 loan to meet payroll this week

URBANA — The Champaign County Nursing Home will not need to tap into a $250,000 loan to meet its payroll this week, county board Chair C. Pius Weibel said Wednesday.

The $250,000 fund was set up earlier this year by the county board to help with the nursing home's cash flow problems.
