[Peace-discuss] Nursing Home Days of Action this Weekend!

I'm told that private facilities, though there are several in the
county, take only a few Medicaid patients - that the County Nursing Home
is the only place that accepts more than a small fraction.

I expect that means that if you needed nursing care and Medicaid would
be paying for it, then when applying to one of the private nursing homes
you'd likely be told there was no room for you, or that it would be a
very long wait.
