Well said, and a good idea, we should provide sources on the Peace List, oops, Peace Discuss List, for those who might like to “research” the truth, not just allow mainstream propaganda, push us into war.

Yesterday Glen Greenwald was interviewed on DN, he was saying a lot of good things about why we shouldn’t go to war, but he began his statement by saying  that Assad was using chemical weapons. A journalist, no less, a “formerly” credible journalist.

There is not only no evidence that Assad gassed his people, neither recently or in the past when he was accused. And, it makes no sense when he’s winning the war, to do something he knows full well will give the US an excuse to strike and destroy.

Glen Greenwald, gave the American people, the excuse to turn a blind eye from that which the USG is planning.

I started to sour on them during the destruction of Libya and their HOERRIBLE coverage and analysis. And it kept getting worse over time.
It is a real shame because they USE to be great. But, that is how this system is set-up. When you take corporate foundation grant money or have corporate advertisers, eventually they will control you. He who pays the piper calls the tune.

If you want, I can privately e-mail you a list of the sources I refer to, which are non-corporate and most important have had a very reliable track record of accuracy over time.

I used to like and respect Amy Goodman, but she insists on perpetuating several pro-establishment positions, such as the corporate media's imperialist propaganda about Libya, Syria, Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela, the official narrative of 9/11, the DNC' paranoia about the Russians "hacking the elections", calling the Imperialist/Wahhabi plot in Syria a "civil war", while referring to the White Helmets (Al Qaeda) as "humanitarians".

Amy surprisingly supported sanctions in Iraq where undreds of thousands of deaths and human suffering occurred because of these sanctions, including the deaths of approximately 500,000 Iraqi children.

Furthermore, Democracy Now! sandwiches "fake news" between real news while running interference for imperialism because it is beholden to funding sources such as the Pacifica Foundation, the Ford, Carnegie, the Lannan Foundation and Patrick Lannan, the capitalist mogul who founded the organization, sat on the board of ITT corporation in the late 70s and early 80s.

The ITT corporation was instrumental in the CIA-backed fascist coup that overthrew the democratically elected socialist Salvador Allende in 1973.

So-called international non-profits such as the Ford Foundation have a long history of receiving enormous donations from the wealthiest individuals and corporations to achieve imperialism's objectives around the world. Foundations wield a form of "soft power" on behalf of US imperialism. Their main purpose is to provide a "civil society" infrastructure in targeted nations capable of fomenting conditions of regime change.

In conclusion Democracy Now! Sandwiches some lies between truths and some truths between lies receiving funds from the oppressor to pretend to advocate for the oppressed
