[Peace-discuss] NYT:Comey The "Slimeball"

For those of you who might not have waded through  Niebuhr, in a nutshell his basic  argument is that although you can be moral in your personal life, you must be immoral if you work for the United States government. Ain't it the truth? Machiavelli made a similar argument in his Prince: Wherefore a prince must learn how not to be good, and use it or not according to necessity.  Niebuhr is required reading in college and graduate school  for aspiring US Imperial Apparatchiks in order to soothe their consciences for all the dirty work they do for the American Empire. Obama too said Niebuhr was his favorite  theologian. No wonder Obama  appointed Pee Tapes Comey Director of the American Gestapo-AKA FBI.

Yeah, while working for Bush Jr. Comey justified and carried out almost every hideous atrocity Bush Jr et al wanted him to inflict on international law, human rights, the United States Constitution, civil rights, civil liberties  and completely innocent human beings--- especially against Muslims/Arabs/Asians of Color. Just a Legal Hatchetman!  And Chomsky has savaged Niebuhr as nothing more than the Chaplain for US Imperial Apparatchiks in order to salve their Consciences for all the dirty work they have done around the world for the American Empire. Ditto for Obama.
