[Peace-discuss] The future?

In the 60's our best and brightest leaders gave us death and destruction in Vietnam. Our best and brightest young people opposed their wars of aggression. Today I cannot refer to our leaders as anything but f……idiots, unfortunately our best and brightest young people have been so "molded" by our flawed educational system, along with our corporate owned media, they give us what Tariq Ali refers to as "intellectual chaos" obfuscating US imperialism.

It tends to be not the millennial generation, as much as those between the ages of 40 and 60.

Recently a political activist over age 60 made the statement “ we appear to be living in a similar realm to that portrayed in the film/play Cabaret, when the grumpy old man refused to stand while the Hitlerjugend sang the beautiful but chilling “The World Belongs to Me.”
