I was not MC in anyway, I did not speak, nor was I responsible for bringing this together with the many young people attending, speaking, etc/

This was PSL, the Party for Socialist Liberation/ANSWER with a couple people/groups co-sponsoring. They deserve the credit. They are not on this Peace List.

Yes, there were some AWARE people present, but the majority were PSL.

I am looking forward to watching the speeches and the protest online. Being slightly Luddite, I forget online is where the majority opinion can be changed in hours! The venue was beautiful for filming, everyone positioned just right, Harry Mickalide holding the exact center spot on the steps so he could not be avoided. Everyone using their own talents- we may not be cohesive yet we are getting the job done bit by bit. There were students in there keeping quiet who disagreed with the majority. The flyers were good too- the interviewer read straight off the back off the flyer and asked D. what he thought of it.

So do I, everytime we do anything opposing war, if it’s not your idea, you look for every opportunity to belittle and criticize.

By the way, special credit goes to Harry Mickalide, for sitting on the stairs to the entrance, with his sign. Some people thanked him for doing what he was doing, but some people were rude and very, very ugly.

Thanks to Stuart Levy, who filmed the protest, not as much fun, but more productive, than chanting.

The speakers, and the many people who attended in solidarity with those who made the effort to attend and voice their disapproval of this man, who represents and is part of the system, of the most reprehensible nation in the world.
