Yeah well the American Nazi Party publicly threatened to kill me if I argued the case for Urbana becoming  Sanctuary City in 1986, which I did anyway and won. So I take these Local Nazis seriously.

The late left journalist Alexander Cockburn used to say that 'Truth-out’ was often better termed ’Truth-Left-Out.’

I fear we see here another identity-politics enthusiasm, to take the place of an anti-war/anti-capitalist movement.

Our government is not killing people in MENA for white supremacy; nor are neoliberal policies designed to establish misogyny.

But the 1% is happy to concentrate on those undoubted evils: it distracts attention from war and exploitation.
