An important intellectual tradition advises "Rarely affirm, seldom deny, always distinguish.” I think it should be followed.

It seems necessary to distinguish between the PDA group and the anti-war movement. It looks like a group that needs to be bashed. Not as bad as MoveOn, perhaps, but close.

The ‘costs of war,’ e.g., should be much, much higher: we should be demanding the US pay reparations for the wars it’s currently conducting. —CGE
