Yes, as usual Obama ( and ALL corporate Democrats ) talk out of both sides
of their mouth. Obama said that and then appealed to Republican voters to
vote for Democrats in November because the Democrats " share their
libertarian values " and in the next breath stated that the Bernie Sanders
wing of the Democratic party were " misguided ". Obama's ultimate in
hypocrisy Friday was his stated support for single payer Medicare for All.
Well Mr. Obama, you had your chance to enact and fight for single payer in
2009 and 2010 when the Democrats controlled all three branches of
government. But instead, you pushed for and implemented a right wing
regressive tax payer subsidized corporate controlled healthcare plan (
Romney / Obama care ). That FINED poor and working class people who were
unable to afford an inferior overpriced corporate product. See Matt Taibbi's
Rolling Stone magazine article from 2009 ( " Sick and Broken " ) that
documents very well Obama and the Democrats ( except Dennis Kucinich )
effort to PREVENT not just single payer but even a lame ass option of a "
public option ". Talk is cheap Mr. Obama and you are the epitome of
hypocrisy and deception.
