"From Combat to the War at Home: A Vietnam Veteran's Experience and Call 
for Activism"

Talk by Barry Romo, National Coordinator, Vietnam Veterans Against the War

Barry served as an infantry officer in Vietnam during 1967-1968. After 
leaving the Army in
1969, he joined the antiwar veterans' movement and has maintained active 
involvement in
that movement and broader social justice movements as a national officer 
with Vietnam Veterans
Against the War ever since. He will talk about those life experiences that 
brought him to enlist in the Army and then become a participant in the 
movement against the war. Reviewing his
long involvement as a peace and social justice activist, he will present a 
case for continued
social justice activism today.
