AWARE Meeting 8-18-02

The Anti-War Anti-Racism Effort's weekly event and meeting features the 
following this week:
    * Anthropologist Veronica Kann will discuss the War on Terrorism and 
the people of Mexico.  Dr. Kann studies popular movements in Mexico and 
will relate how Mexican people are responding to US militarism.
    * A puppet show by puppeteer Mark Enslin
    * And Carl Estabrook will review the news of the week as it relates to 
efforts for peace and the War on Terror.
All are welcome at the Anti-War Anti-Racism Effort's weekly meeting, Sunday 
at 5 p.m. at the Independent Media Center, 218 W. Main Street, Urbana.
