Hi Jeff, I am part of a group locally organizing against War, its called...

AWARE (The Anti-War, Anti-Racism Effort) - www.anti-war.net
We meet every Sunday from 5-7pm at the
Independent Media Center, http://www.ucimc.org/

We've held 3 anti-war teach-ins, will hold our 4th anti-war teach-in
on 9-8-02, one of our speakers will be Jeff Guntzel.

We're holding a direct action on Sept. 11th - where we'll have
speakers and march to our local FBI office- the title of this direct
action is "Another World is Possible" - (more info on our website soon)

With the Chicago Bears coming to town we've been standing on main
roads leading to football stadium on game days, with anti-war signs,
handing out leaflets explaining why we're againt a war with Iraq,
and engaging people in questions about another war...

We also publish a monthly newsletter where people frequently write
about social justice issues...

We've also formed a "Mutual Aid Pact" - a pact to which members of our
community sign on an promise to help if someone in our community is
unfairly targeted by law enforcement officals in "anti-terrorist"
investigations...
