[Peace] Help! for Peace Bazaar

Joan Nelshoppen needs help for the Peace Bazaar!!!! 
The bazaar will be held on Dec. 14, 9 am-3 pm at the
Community United Church of Christ at 6th and Daniel. 
The Peace Bazaar is a place to buy new and recycled
items, Unicef cards and calendars, crafts,
books,plants, and fresh-baked goods.  You can find
some great bargains and some quirky fun things to buy
in addition to the things you'd expect there.  The
proceeds go to 7 peace organizations: BOAST (a local
afterschool program), Progressive Resource/Action
cooperative, Independent Media Center, Witness for
Peace, Voices in the Wilderness, and Amnesty
International.  Joan needs VOLUNTEERS.  There are 2
shifts where  she is critically short of volunteers:
Wed. Dec. 11 from 6 PM to 8 PM--involves moving
donations from the drop-off to the church and Sat.,
Dec. 14, 3-4:40 PM, packing and clean-up after the
bazaar.  Joan has many Seniors to help her, but she is
counting on some "younger folk" to step forward to
help with the lifting, etc. which the older folk
shouldn't be asked to do.  Please email her if you can
help.
