Today's "Wild Card" guest speaker will be Peter Miller, physicist and
labor organizer, at the School for Designing a Society, 409 N. Race,
Urbana.

He'll speak and answer questions from 5-6:15pm; afterwards there will be
dinner.

Peter has been active in labor organizing and political activism for the
past ten years in this area, and is relied on to be both a dynamo, a
committed person, and skilled in organizing. Why would an intelligent
person 'organize', and why 'labor'? What skills are implied in
organizing? Can a rocking anarchist learn how?

Beyond talking about the 'O' word, Peter will also talk about why he left
his other life, physics; give some history to 'labor'; and other topics.

Please feel invited to attend, both Peter's talk and the dinner following.

This is Tuesday, Feb 5, 2002, and we are in the world together, even
looking at this screen.
