Rokke -

Always appreciate your words of immense experience. Can you provide some
specific examples cases? Or some resources where i can find discussion of
incidents and cases? i have confidence in your experiences; but, in my
dealings with others, most people want and are more likely to listen openly
when i have specifics. Thanks!

All-

As a somewhat related point and possible interest to the Aware group,
currently an international group of technical arms control/nuclear
nonproliferation specialists sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists
is meeting on campus. We've been addressing issues of space-based weapons,
disposal of fissile material and non-proliferation. Sentiments that i've
heard echoed among international progressive technical policy experts are
feelings that the US population doesn't seem to have concern w/r/t control,
disposal and monitoring of the nuclear materials in the former Soviet Union
and a lack of contact with groups that are doing the progressive,
grass-works work. AWARE has allies in many places!

Regards,
Margaret
