[Peace] Use of picture from website

Hi, all-

I haven't disappeared, I've just had a lot of schedule conflicts. It
sounds like the Sep. 11 plans are coming along wonderfully!

A question: WILL is producing a piece for a radio series about Sep. 11,
and they've interviewed me and others (on this list, I'm guessing)
regarding anti-war activities. The piece will be broadcast nationally and
posted to a website, modestly named "understandingamerica.org". The
producer, Jim Meadows, called to ask if he can use a photo from the AWARE
website on the 'understanding' site, and I couldn't think of any reason to
object except perhaps that the website will be used to advertise for some
of our corporate rulers. He's checking to see who's funding the series.

Any time we're used in the news, we (hopefully) get our message out but
we're being used to sell things. This situation doesn't seem any
different, so I don't think we should object to using our pictures with the
story.

Does anyone think we should prevent the "understandingamerica.org" website
from using AWARE pictures?

Thanks,
Peter
