[PROF. DIEHL is a faculty at the Department of
Political Science, UIUC.  He holds MS and Ph.D.
degrees in Political Science from the University of
Michigan.  He is University of Illinois Distinguished
Teacher/Scholar.  His research and teaching interests
include international relations, international
conflict, international organization, and
international law.  He has authored/coauthored a
number of books and articles. Some of the recent
titles include War and Peace in International Rivalry;
A Roadmap to War:Territorial Dimensions of
International Conflict; Environmental Conflict, and
others.

[PROF. ARFI is a faculty at the Department of
Political Science, UIUC.  He holds Ph.D. degrees
in Political Science and Physics, both from the
University of Illinois.  His research and teaching
interests involve International Politics and Security;
Middle Eastern, North African and Islamic politics;
Ethnic conflict, Democratization, US foreign policy
Fuzzy-Sets Game theory, and Mathematical modeling
Methodology.

His forthcoming book is titled: International Change
and the Stability of Multiethnic Societies.  He has
written a number of manuscripts such as: Resolving the
Trust Predicament in IR: A Quantum Game-Theoretic
Approach; How the Hereafter Shapes the Here Now:
Understanding Political Islam from an Islamic
Normative/Historical Perspective; To Be 'And' Not To
Be: How Identity Fuzzifies Rationality (the Role of
Identity as a Variable in Fuzzy-Sets Game Theory).

[PROF. RASHID is faculty at the Department of
Economics, UIUC.  He has a Ph.D. from Yale University
and BSc.from London School of Economics.  His
teaching involves courses in economic development and
the history of economic thought.  Research focuses on
money, banking, and economic development; religion and
economics, especially applications to South and East
Asia. He has authored / co-authored / edited a number
of books and articles.  One of which is a Response to
the Clash of Civilizations; others include: The
Political Balance of Trade.
Prof. Rashid has been a consultant to the United
Nations TOKTEN program working on projects in South
Asia.
