Ladies and Gentlemen: The directive initiating action and planning, the
primary planning, and field and command post exercises used to validate the
plans for the upcoming attack on Iraq were completed while Clinton was
President as directed by his cabinet, appointed military staff, and regulars
and reserves who sold their souls for power, money, and advancement. The
plans have been modified and improved under Bush administration. However,
most of the senior DOD officials driving the train are still holdovers from
the Clinton era. Attack plans such as set for Gulf War II take months and
years to prepare and validate. Please be under no illusion that if Gore had
been elected that we would not be headed towards war. If anything it would
have already happened. That was the actual plan anyway. The move for war is
independent of who is in office, Clinton, Gore, Bush, or anyone else. At this
time special forces also known as "black ops" are already in operation within
the "areas of operation" that means Iraq, Saudi, Kuwait, Turkey, Iran, etc.
The known and suspected effects of Gulf war I was the reason I was asked to
give an invited talk in the U.S. Senate ("Address at Fall Congressional /
Coalition Leadership Breakfast"
325 Russell Senate Office Building, U.S. Senate, Washington D.C., November
10, 2000, Dr. Doug Rokke) just days after the November Presidential election.
We thought that Bush would win outright but that did not occur with all of
the shenanigans that went on during the election.
Sorry- but reality is different.
War is pure hell!
No one wins as recent updated Gulf War I casualty data verifies.
Upon redeployment after Gulf War I (October/ November 1991) the casualty
count (injured, ill, and dead) was 760. Today the VA confirmed casualty
count (May 2002) for that same period is: 159238 injured or ill and 8013
dead of Gulf War I combat related injuries and illnesses. That is U.S.
casualties only!! It is not difficult to estimate the total casualty count -
it is now in the millions.
