A brief survey of Arab cultures and civilization will be given by Abbas

Benmamoun, Professor of Linguistics and director of the Arabic program

at UIUC, followed by the short film "Young Voices from the Arab World". 

A discussion period will follow.

 

 To be held in the South Rec. Room of Allen Hall, 1005 W. Gregory,

      Tuesday, Oct 22, from 7 to 8:30pm.
