[Peace] listen and call into Focus 580 tomorrow!

Hello all-

Tomorrow, Palestinian Activist Osama Saba will be
the guest on Focus 580 from 11-12pm, please listen
and call in.

This is part of Osama's visit to our community, he'll
be speaking in Urbana High School classes tomorrow
afternoon and given at talk the IDF from 7-9pm tomorrow night,
Monday Sept. 23rd.  The talk is free and open to the public...

Osama's Biography Follows:

Osama was born in Jerusalem to Palestinian parents and lived in Ramallah on
the West Bank where his family still lives. He left to Egypt in 1987 for
college and after obtaining his bachelor's degree from University of Cairo
he worked there for 2 years. After that he returned to Palestine where he
worked for 2 years with the Palestinian ministry of health. In 1996 he came
to University of Iowa as a Fulbright scholar and has stayed to complete his
Ph.D.  He participated in the Iowa International Fellow program and is a
member and the president of the Palestinian student organization on campus.
He has spoken at a number of events on and off campus including the
"Christian Witness For Middle East Peace and Justice" event sponsored by
Middle East Forum and Friends of Sabeel-NA (Iowa chapters) held in both Des
Moines and Iowa City.
