Hey, is there anyone interested in organizing a little public singing
Friday morning? I think it's great idea, but can't organize it. See
message below and respond to Meridith. I have Rise Up singing books at my
house. Perhaps the Carolers for Peace could show up?

Hey Danielle,

At the AWARE meeting last Sunday Charlotte Green
asked if we could have music at the send-off for
vans heading to DC this Friday (Jan. 17th) at
8:30 in front of the Illini Union...

Charlotte asked if anyone had "Rise Up Singing"
books- I rememberd you did...

So I was wondering if we might be able to borrow
them to sing out of for the send-off,

Or - since many people heading to DC may be
a bit frazzeled that morning, if you knew of
anyone who would like to show up for 10-15 minutes
and play some music of their own (and lead us is in
a brief number) - that may be the better plan-

This is not absolutely essential -
I just know Charlotte was wanting music, especially
since the media may be there...

Do you know of anyone who might be interested in doing this?

Just let me know and I'll tell Charlotte-

thanks, meridith

ps- Indigo called last night, from our conversation I feel
good about the boundaries that were set - she agreed to write
out what medication she needs to take and when and share
this with an assigned partner - we also talked about the
need to stay with the group, especially during marches, and that
all the teenagers would have partners to stick with during the
march - i am working to do this in a way that respects her
independence while also providing support to prevent larger
problems from developing- hopefully all will go well-

thanks for your help,

talk to you soon, meridith
