David Gill is an anti-war democrat running against Tim Johnson for the
US House, I don't think that's terrible news.

If the democrats run an anti-war person against Bush, it's likely I'll
vote for him, but if they run a pro-war big-bucks democrat, I ain't
votin' for him any more than I'd vote for Bush.

Terrible news--we'll have enough trouble voting out the Bush regime w/o
dividing Demo votes...... If we really want some progressive changes,
we'll back the best candidate running, e g Dean from VT or Kucinich from
OH.  I hope someone convinces the Greens that this isn't their time. 
Their chief $upport will come, gleefully, from Rt wing of Republican
party......

Hello everyone,
 Sorry for the short notice but I thought you might be interested in
this  event. Dr. David Gill, who is a progressive thinking of running
for the US  House will be at the Green Party meeting in Urbana tonight
(Wedensday). Dr.  Gill is planning on running for the democratic
nomination, I think he will  be making an official annoucment soon. The
meeting is at 7pm at the  Independent Media Center - 218 W Main.
